What do you think of David Lynch movies? (lemmygrad.ml)

I watched 'Inland Empire' and 'Blue Velvet' (read the content warning labels first) and I have no idea what these movies are about or what they're trying to tell me. I had the same feeling with watching Chainsaw Man. d; Does anyone know what these movies are supposed to be about?

i hate them; they're all vague, postmodern, unapproachable and idealist garbage. not understanding them is part of the point, so that those who think the films are deep can wax poetic about how amazing they are, but then fall back on any interpretation they like whenever serious criticisms are levied at the works or their underlying ideology.
