What is the difference between mute and block? in c/[email protected]

I could be wrong but I believe you can still access muted communities via search but they don't show up in your feed; while blocked communities don't come up at all.

Came here to post this. Everything else is perfect so far but this is the feature everyone else was lacking. Already purchased the ad free.
