What was your team? I did the same last year with Decidueye, Lycanroc (day), Salazzle, Alolan Raichu, Alolan Ninetales and Salamence. Rufflet and Zorua/Zoroark contributed early-game.

Machamp, lilligant, metagross, lunala, incineroar and muk 4 members were from mememele, and I have 2 ones that left the team, pelipper and magnezone that were both melemele
By endgame I had a pretty big weakness to fairy and flying. Both kukui and the fight in the motel to start the postgame were hard af
The toughest for me were some of the totems especially Lana (since Araquanid's bug typing countered Dartrix and what would be my Alolan Raichu was still a Pichu) and Acerola (dealing with the Mimikyu's friends it would spawn in). Endgame was the easiest part for me because my team was finally at full strength.
Yea, Lana was a challenge, the skull admin right before Olivia was hard cos my team was all nearly dead. Endgame was hard cos I was actually under leveled by about 3 levels
Congrats buddy. Now on to gen 8.
Hey, I need some advice. What are some good mons for gen 8
I'm gonna do a single player, no losses run
Is gen 8 dead? Is the dlc legendary cave still on?
There are many great mons in gen 8. I personally really like corvinight, obstagoon and galarian darmanitan, especially Galarian darmanitan, who is super broken in the game. I won't say the game is dead tho unfortunately I have zero idea about the dlc's.
K. I do remember gen 8 being incredibly easy, should be no issue.
For woem reason the evil team js a bigger joke than team skull. And comes with a discount aether foundation lol
Will play
Yeah. Gen 8 has the reputation of being very easy(which i don't mind since I hate grinding lol). Tho the champion can be pretty challenging.
Yeah the evil team is a let down from gen 7 (and probably the worst in the series IMO). Still that doesn't take away the fun from the game.
Yea, I liked gen 8. Could use a lil more difficulty tho.
Gen 7 is damn near perfect difficulty. Is gen 9 any harder? I don't have it and don't plan to get it
True. I haven't played gen 9 either lol. But from what I've seen it seems pretty good to me.
Yea. I'd emulate it but no way I could.
No worries. Maybe wait till ryujinx gets better?
My device is an android, I have the last known version of yuzu, but I have a pocket 4 pro, its not good at switch.
Fucking Kirby star allies had a stroke on it. I'm talking half the textures not loading followed by a crash
Ah I see. Don't worry tho, we still have strato coming.
Strato?
Also how hard are the older games. I'm looking for something slightly harder than gen 7
Not needing tms to get around would be nice but not needed.
Strato is an upcoming emulator and it is a fork of skyline. Many people who worked on skyline are working on strato.
Old pokemon games are pretty difficult(except gen 6). Try the gen 5 games, they are my favorite in the series.
Gen V also gives you unlimited tm usage unlike previous gens and you only need 3 HMs to progress in the game (in which cut is only required in the beginning)
K, I'll do gen 5
What systems does strato do? Does it work on android? Is it open source?
It's a switch emulator. If you don't know, the predecessor of strato, skyline, was the major switch emulator on android before yuzu until they shut it down.
Idk about it being open source tho.
K, where can i get strato? Do they have a github? Sorry :3
They don't have a release yet as it's still underdevelopment tho you can find their github and more info on their website: strato-emu.com. No worries dude.
Oki, I'll look into it
Yea, I should replay it. I'd do ultra gen 7 but the forced online bit right after elite 4 might as well be a softlock
