I've been reading Mother Night by Kurt Vonnegut. I'm almost done and tbh I don't really get what he's trying to say with this one

Reading Jacques Ellul's Propagandas and not enjoying it... Little in the way of examples to showcase what he's talking about and honestly I don't think propaganda is that much of a dense topic that it needs such a structural analysis (it's not that deep bro), but that's on me

Anyone familiar with the book or Ellul in general?

Hoxha's "The Khruschevites" (they say the Soviet Union was fascist at some point after Stalin died... what?), Bordiga's "Dialogue With Stalin" (oh my god my eyes), and a bit of Engels's "Socialism, Utopian and Scientific" (very nice).
