NATO, "Wait, African countries are going to start firing at us?"
First time I have heard of Niger in the news (genuinely), and that looks like good news. Also, I think it is Nigerien (since they are from Niger, not Nigeria).
Will Niger help check Nigeria doing the bidding of the empire?
They already have, along with other Sahel Alliance States (AES). Not too long ago Nigeria was threatening to invade Niger on behalf of the neocolonial puppet organization ECOWAS, and they were dissuaded by the combined military power of Niger, Mali and Burkina Faso.
Did I forget about that?! 😮 Hopefully I missed it and am not that overloaded, mentally.
Benin hosted a french warship, and since niger relies on benin for sea access (during colonial times they were even ruled as one administrative unit for a time via an attempted Sahel-Benin Union), there was some major tension a short while ago.
I have a vague memory trying to form, thank you! I'd like to place Steve Bannon on the receiving end of a firehose of his own doodoo.
I mean, slowly. There is the threat of the US throwing its full weight behind Nigeria, that's the purpose of all the Nicki Minaj "Christians are being genocided" (not just Christians, often by US-trained fundamentalist groups, & basically with complicity/corrupt involvement from the NG govt even when it's just banditry). It seems like they are aligning with Morocco, which I'm iffy about, but it should open up a lot of opportunities. They just can't be trusted, long story short
Thank you, my initial reaction was unease in my gut.
