Goddammit. I can see how this is convenient for Netflix subscribers in the short term. But this is yet another consolidation adding to the oppressive weight on consumers, and would-be competitors. For one thing, I'm sure this is going going to lead to higher Netflix subscription prices than we would have seen otherwise.
