Xhaka incident was a symptom of the malaise. Malaise cured, previous symptom irrelevant.

@soycapitan451 @sabreW4K3 The rant was clearly clickbait, or rage bait, and of course it worked. Angry fans springing to his defence =engagement = revenue
What is this toxic post? I thought we left this kind of nonsense behind on reddit.
Is this actually worth a discussion? Heβs gone. His arc with our team is over and he clearly left on a the high note for his 7 years at Arsenal.
It's not worth discussing, and ppl like them are part of the overall problem, yet act all high and mighty while regurgitating this nonsense.
What are you even talking about. You're literally being the epitome of toxicity that we all hoped to leave behind.
So because you disagree with something it's toxic and you're going to lazily label it so instead of having a discussion and respectfully putting your point across with your fellow community members?
The fans absolutely have the right to discuss players past and present and no one has to act like the sun shone out of anyone's arse. Do we have to be respectful about them? Yeah. We have some class. Do we have to lie to ourselves or one another? Nope.
The reality is, is that through no fault of his own, Xhaka was played out of position from day one and wasn't very good at it. But he was great in training and had a great personality, so managers liked him and never made it a point of urgency to replace him. This ultimately cost them all their jobs and limited our ability to perform.
That said, when he was finally played in position he was decent. Not world class but decent and the fact we're able to cash in on him is amazing.
Anyway, please don't do this stuff where you don't like something so you try and label it in such a negative fashion. You're better than that.
Don't heed anything guy says. He hates arsenal and he's unbelievably biased. He lists off all these captains and how the armband represents them. Who understands that more than Mikel Arteta, former arsenal captain? If he can forgive xhaka and arsenal fans can, then why should I care one iota what some talksport Chelsea fan thinks.
To be fair, Rory was the first neutral to say he thought we'd win it. I've watched a fair bit of him over the last two seasons and I've not got the hate-Arsenal vibe from him.
There's a reason 3 Arsenal managers placed their trust into Xhaka, nuff said
Yeah, who cares about idiots looking for clicks. I thank Xhaka for his service and wish him all the best.
