Hey, I want to run an Ethernet cable through my apartment (not in my walls, but along my walls) but once the cable arrives at the door to my room idk what I should do to get it through, I have very modern doors without any open spaces where a cable might fit through, I'd appreciate any advice/help

I got nothing as far as what someone professional might do, but it really isn't that hard to drill small holes and patch them later. Drilling is easy, and patching is simple, but takes a little planning and paint matching.

The only problem with that is if whatever management company does an inspection. If that's a risk, you'd be way better off going through a wall where you can hide things better.

It really depends on what the layout is like, though. If there's nowhere you can run the cable to get to a wall without having to go through a door, you're kinda fucked and would need something more specialized.

Like, there are those things that let you route data through power outlets, though I can't imagine that's worth it.
