According to most voices on the Steam forums, this beta branch update dramatically decreases the game's loading times, in some cases from over 7 minutes to under a minute.

Have community mods from workshop started to work for II yet? I've wanted to try it but I really need mod support first.

I am not sure what issue you have been having, but mod support is alive and well and has been for months.
