What does wumao mean? I've read twitter posts by Chinese users who use it against....I think anti-China Asian Americans?
五毛 is the Chinese for 50 cents. They are saying you get paid 50 cent per comment. On the English net from what I've seen it's mostly used by sinophobes in place of saying you're a Chinese bot which most end up adding anyway.
