Hi! I'm currently working on a kodi addon and I found that if you install/update from a zip file, then delete and replace the zip file with updated content, kodi cant load the contents for some reason. You have to restart. Then it works as expected. Uninstalling and reinstalling doesnt change it.

Anyone have experience with this?

Any ideas on a modern up-to-date addon for streaming shows like Real House Wives? Seren and Asgard show no sources. I need to satisfy my wife so I can finally take my smart TV offline.

as title, which plugin let me record anything I'm seeing?

I have a fresh install of Kodi, and I'm trying to install some addons, but I'm seeing unavailable dependencies for them.

These are all common dependencies, like plugin.googledrive, script.module.whatever, ResolveURL, etc...

Is there some sort of default repository that I don't have installed? Do I need to install these things in the OS I'm running Kodi in? Something else that I'm not thinking of?

Thanks!

Hi folks, I'm trying to get the twitch addon to stop freezing on midroll ads on libreelec/raspi4.

I have made posts on the libreelec forum as well as the addon page but so far no luck. It seems as some people have the same issue but not as many as I'd thought. Any idea what the issue might be?

Here's a pastebin of the log. I am running the newest nightly from 8 am CET. I can barely use the addon which was the whole reason I set the system up.

Thanks for reading. Any help is greatly appreciated.

The Crew seems all-purpose so I tend to use it more but Fen looks so much better as far as movies and TV. I tend to fill my needs with The Crew and Mad Titan Sports. Do you guys know any better addons?

I just updated libreELEC which updated Kodi to a version that no longer supports python 2. As such, the subtitles add-on I was using no longer works.

Which add-on are people using to get subtitles?

And ideally, is there something that automatically downloads subtitles as soon as I play a show/movie?

Hi, does anybody know if and how it is possible to use "add-on dependent vlan"?

I would like to have a few add-ons to use vlan 1, while the rest use vlan 2.

I am using kodi on an Rpi

Any help is very much appreciated.

I have been using Scrubs V2 for a while, but lately it hasn’t been finding many links. What are people using for free scrapper addons?

Edit: Seems like Diggz Free99 is a Scrubs fork that is currently being updated.

Preferably in chronological order of last watched.

I feel like there has to be a more straightforward option to continue watching than finding the show season and episode through the regular library....

Edit: I am asking about this for stock Kodi not third-party real-debrid/streaming stuff.

The only time I've been able to use PVR/IPTV is with MX Linux xfce DE. For my other Linux I can sometimes build the packages and get it working (Ubuntu gnome, Fedora gnome, mx Linux KDE)

I'm just trying to get plutotv PVR to work without messing around with building and finding different addon dependencies.

I see posts about the issue... I don't understand why it's like this though? How come installing Kodi seems to have different results?

Seems like a basic thing...

In case anyone didn't know before updating (like me) and wants to stay off reddit, here's how to get them working again! Thanks to u/MammothBullfrog274 in r/addons4kodi:

Add the new repository for Coco Scrapers in file manager, here is the address:

https://cocojoe2411.github.io/

Do the usual process of adding the repo.

Here are helpful links to set up the external coco scrapers:

Hope this helps!

Just thought I'd save at least someone a panic. Couldn't find any posts about it anywhere except Reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/Addons4Kodi/comments/161d6h5/real_debrid_down_for_maintenance/

It's been a while since I last used Kodi, and I was wondering what are the recommended addons for live sports streaming, mainly Premier league, NBA and NFL

Hi, I was looking for a specific HGTV show that’s not popular so no cached torrents, I have real debrid. But was able to find it on some online streaming sites. Is there a way to add these sites to Cocoscrapers or a4kscrapers? Or is this something I just imagine I can do.

Hi, can someone tell me what the different categories of source types mean? Are all of them accessible with a real debrid account?

Source Type: Prioritize sources by type. (Cloud, Adaptive, Torrents, Hosters)

Thanks!

Hi All, im faily new to Kodi and real debrid but i managed to get it working great untill 2 nights ago, almost every TV show i try to play will start playing then after about 5 seconds bug message on screen saying it has failed to play. The file is still playing in the background but cant see it because of the message. If i download the same file it downloads fine and plays fine. im on windows 10 with kodi Nexus, everything is upto date and real debrid is paid up for 6 months, it also works perfectly on stremio with the same accounts. could this be something i have done wrong? thanks in advance

I've built many Kodi boxes, but appreciated this straightforward Kodi from scratch guide.

Alfa

Alfa is a Kodi Spanish video add-on located in the Alfa Repository. It has sections for movies, TV Shows, Anime, Documentaries, Direct, Downloads, and more. It is one of the best spanish addons for kodi, though its very different than your average Exodus fork. Current Version: 3.7.13 Instructions for adding this repo: Go to the Kodi file manager. Click on "Add source" The path for the source is https://a4k.redditreaper.tech/addons/ (Give it the name "A4K Extra Repos"). Go to "Addons" In Addons, install an addon from zip. When it asks for the location, select "A4K Extra Repos", and install repository.alfa-addon-*.zip Go back to Addons install, but this time, select "Install from repository" Select the "Alfa repo" Go into the "Video add-ons" section in the repo, and you'll find the Alfa addon Be sure to Authenticate your Debrid Providers, it's a bit tricky though, you need to turn it on in settings and its menu based settings first and then look for a link and it should prompt you to authenticate RD in Alfa. Once it does you should be good to go. Be careful as this addon has p2p torrent functionality with no easy way to turn it off.
