I was online with Apple Support for an hour and a half. My AWU has been having sudden dramatic battery drainage periodically.
We tried to do a diagnostic three times and it couldn’t complete the diagnostic at any point. It’s been getting hot to the touch when it charges.
My phone is on os17.1 and my watch is on 10.1.1. I got the watch in early October this year (upgraded from a series 3). I’ve liked it a lot until the battery failures.
Apple support kept asking if I got it wet. I don’t shower in it and I don’t swim. I take to my Apple Store today, but does it sound like it’s toast?
I get the impression that Apple isn’t thinking it’s a software issue. Any thoughts or advice for when I take it in today?
I'm having this issue too, battery is draining so fast after firmware update.
My condolences. It’s been aggravating, I was lucky I could return it to Costco.
Yeah I'm giving it a couple of days more and if it's not improving I'll go Apple care route
