Fair enough on Blackwood. I will miss him but with the competition for attacking positions at the moment it makes sense to let him go. He is quite unlucky that he picked up that injury because his form was good early on in the season.

Kasumovic hadn't been playing since Jovanovic broke into the team, so I can understand why he was let go too. Though I am pretty disappointed we never saw more of him because he is a good size for lone 9, whilst still retaining pace and technical ability.

How far away is Wood from becoming a regular first team player in the A-League? Do you think he has a realistic chance next season at Sydney? Or will they sign a big name foreigner and relegate him to the bench?

Pretty random move. I'll admit I haven't been paying close attention during the off-season, but I had no idea there were clubs looking at him.

I've supported Adelaide United since their foundation in the NSL. I've also supported Derby County since the 05/06 season and Seongnam since the 2016 season, though not to the same extent as Adelaide. I'm not a big national team fan but I do watch major tournaments and some of the qualifiers.
