On the Steam Deck it already "just works" for a lot of games (with an OLED or an external display). So we're not that far off for those changes propagating to Desktop.
Awesome work! Looking forward to trying it out. I remember reading HDR support was on the roadmap, when is that planned?
I like the game, but it doesn't take advantage of the Steam Deck's touch pads at all. A hybrid mouse/controller scheme would work very well for this type of game. And atm you can't even make a custom hybrid control scheme because switching between m/kb and controller is bugged.
How much trouble does winter weather cause for folks in Detroit who do not have cars? How close to downtown Detroit do you need to be to still have an acceptable amount of freedom of movement without needing a car?
From personal experience living in Denver (we get roughly the same snowfall as Detroit). I found driving in the snow much more annoying then walking/taking the bus.
I'm guessing Detroit's lack of car ownership is partly due to income.
Car was stolen, didn't bother getting another. I was only using it about once a week anyway.
Partner also doesn't own a car.
Exactly. I should have expanded further, but I was including Forgotten Realms as part of the D&D brand.
A lot of empty lots in Denver get absolutely filled with prairie dogs already. They're cute but also reproduce like mad with no natural predators in suburbia. We need more ferrets to eat them, they're even more cute imo.
That's weird, I do get the black boxes as well, but a much smaller portion of my screen. What resolution are you running? I'm at 4K.
Yes, for the most part. Might have to disable the launcher. https://www.protondb.com/app/1086940
This. College is useful for trying out difference career paths and subjects. But hopefully you end up enjoying something that will pay off all the debt you just accrued.
I'm just glad parking lots are added. It felt too unrealistic that cars just popped in/out of existence. Also will make the transition from a parking lot riddled hellscape to transit oriented utopia that much better.

But what's wrong with working in parallel? Develop hydrogen while the grid becoming greener. A traditional electric train has the same issue of being grid based.
