Too little to late.. I already left and fell in love with Linux
I will preface with. I know nothing about how things work.. but I suppose there might be potential in if that goes through that there's less money to put towards things like Linux development and may have to raise price on steam machine even more.. that's just a potential negative that comes to mind
This crap is why my LG TV lost its internet privileges last year and built a htpc to do all my media needs.
The HDMI forum continues to be lame
Mine does that too. It's so freaking cute. She'll like reach out to stretch and then cover up her face. Such a little baby. I'm glad you are also blessed with such a sweet cat
Oh they definitely finished editing all of their names out conveniently only leaving Democrat names
Right? I'm a bit jaded but when someone starts making the "they're attacking free speech" argument it usually comes down to "wahhh they won't let us say slurs on Minecraft anymore" it sounds like users of the server are reporting toxic behaviors and the owner knows exactly what they mean.
Every day I'm happier I switched to the penguin

After hearing other sides, I kind of take steam side on this lawsuit. For one, cross-platform DLCs are not technically possible. The DLC has to authenticate with the base license access, the cloud saves and every other system. It's the same way on consoles. You can't buy the PS5 game and then expect to buy the DLC on Xbox or something.. it's just not how that works.
As for the not allowing the games to be permanently priced cut on other stores, steam offers discoverability like no other platform offers as well as the achievements the reviews the workshop. It prevents someone from listing their game on steam for all the benefits it offers but then sending users to other platforms to get it cheaper.
There have been things steam has done wrong in the past that have been righted with lawsuits but I don't really feel like this particular thing is a anti-competitive practice as much as just having a more feature-rich platform and not letting that be taken advantage of without getting something back.
The only real issue I have with valve is using drm but that's not changing anytime soon
