Having allergies prob saved me from experiencing less socially acceptable recreations. I still have a Benadryl from time to time. For my allergies.

I get it, it’s obnoxious and annoying, bereft of deep thought or courtesy. Qualities the senders must possess. But I could go the rest of my life without seeing unsolicited genitals tbh.

Have to teach the child (grown adult should have self control and understanding of portion size) healthy eating habits.

I make one grocery trip a week so I’m not dealing with all that.

Love cherry blossoms. Thankfully we have lots of them and crabapples in New England. Beautiful and makes the early spring tolerable.

I knew some with dead parents, a few in jail, a couple “call the police on sight” and plenty of abandonment... Life really isn’t fucking fair. I know it is a joke but it definitely is a privileged one.

They’ve been to the store and seen the 4 dollar bread and eight dollar cereal, I reckon.

I don’t post there anymore but the only time it felt like I was talking to real people was on my small state sub. That’s the only reason I even lurk. Since I’m banned from Facebook it’s the only place to get the tea.

No preference, every session has a purpose. I hope people don’t feel guilty about being real with their providers. That’s what providers are for.

Mine are little anyway but the point is the same. If we have a big feelings day, so be it .

My current company was kind enough to give a dropdown menu of reasons. I just chose one, no questions were asked.

I think this boils down to trust and emotional security. You build this rapport over time with one another. Rather than learning not to make a sound, which is another topic itself …

I can afford an attic??

Recently switched a needed policy to a different company. Same policy details, $400.00 less for 6 months. They really just rely on people letting things get charged automatically. It just seems insane to me. And wastes my time having to swap back and forth. But whatever, I’ll do it.

Not to brag… (piefed.zip)

I just (accidentally)dropped my new screen protector I was fumbling with (and afraid of), and it fell exactly into the right spot on the guide, and installed without a single air bubble or adjustment. I’ve truly never seen glass so centered. Should I buy a lotto ticket?

Workplace gossip (piefed.zip)
submitted 3 weeks ago by sparkles@piefed.zip to c/asklemmy@lemmy.ml

Is workplace gossip just a painful fact of life? Is there a way to go beneath the radar with regards to coworkers and staff who base their life enjoyment discussing other people’s personal business? Is there a good model for reducing the amount of workplace gossip/reinforcing more pro social habits? Or is that just how people socialize? I realize that’s multiple forms of the question, but it is always something I think about working in a gossip culture.
