2hr daily meeting.

Fuck man, sorry.

I work from home once a week, and yeah the steam deck is nice in this regards.

btw, did you know that the steam docking station also works on laptops? Found that to be very useful, now I don't have to unplug and plug in a bunch of hdmi when I need to use the monitor for work/gaming.

Office worker in government. Everyone around me is either an idiot/incompetent or doing all the work. Will get 'rewarded' with more work if I start asking for more.

At least you get to go home early if you want. I guarantee that 80% of office workers pretend to work all day because if we don't then we are given more work/responsibilities without a pay increase, job title, any reward.

A lot of office work is 'be ready to answer a question at anytime when someone walks up to your cube'. And to be fair, you are probably the only person who can answer that question since most people's role is niche/specialized.

But honestly, pretty sure office workers/management want people in the office all hours of the days because they hate their home life, and use work as their only socialization.

Completely avoid the fact that politicians also don't know how AI, or any tech, works.

Ignore the idiots that help you, but yell at the 'idiots' that make your feelings hurt.

Only had my heart broken once (twice if you count me taking her back after cheating).

Time was the only thing that helped me. And then after a year or two, trying to talk to other girls.

Either way, its rough man. Just know that you are not alone and everybody goes through it.

Online hobby communities. So if your into gaming/modding, join some discords or whatever and then eventually you can translate to irl. Especially if you live near a big city/population.

Also, my wife 5 years ago made about 5 new friends on Bumble with friend feature thing. Still hang out with two of them.

I would not say people are coming more prudish, but rather policies are. Why? I assume because cash is king, and the best way to get cash is in advertising. Advertising has always been prudish since it needs to appeal to the masses.

Policy eventually influences/dictates culture. This is most obvious with the world 'unalive'.

Another idea, is that we are becoming significantly more moral and have increase civil rights. How does this relate? Well, if you grew up in the 90s or 00s you know that being told you were gay was not a joking matter, but a serious claim that could make you a social pariah. Now calling someone 'gay' as an insult is not as socially acceptable, is that because we are more prude or more moral?

I think what a lot of people identify as 'prude' culture is just another perspective of an attempt at being more moral and inclusive.
