What choice would they have? It's a mutual suicide pact like the elites abusing children in front of each other for mutual silence and blackmail.

The US can remotely disable their jet fighters and other military assets they force Europe to buy. "Who would do that, who would accept that" someone like you would cry. And the answer is someone without a choice, who didn't know better or who thought that the person doing it was their friend and would only use it on their enemies only to realize too late that they expect you to go down with them if you ever flinch in your support.

Europe is convinced that they support them for guilt over centuries of anti-semitism and that doing so absolves them and makes them morally superior and able to lecture others and I could see Germans saying "yes, please, engineer a gun to point at our head to murder us if we ever dare flinch in our support of you, it's our penance for the holocaust".

So who would do that? White supremacists. Full believers in NATO/US/EU hegemony. Full believers in zionism who are actually all over the place and in many powerful positions and would have gladly helped such a program along so that their successors could not back out, could not have a choice to stop the support of the program, would be forced to carry on the work they believe is right and necessary, locked into that course by their forebears.

This isn't something that I think most eyes states are aware of to be honest. And if it is what can they do? Europe is very weakly trying to get some limited tech autonomy and being punched in the face by the US for that and not having much success because it's a liberal capitalist affair and funding a few open source projects at low levels cannot compete with the years of code and lock-in major American tech suppliers have on the tech stack. Screaming to the world this is happening won't stop it happening anymore than screaming the zionists have nukes which they don't officially acknowledge does anything about those. They're under the gun, they can't get out easily if at all because their blackmailer may threaten to shoot if they try and remove themselves from their power entirely.

I mean you're not informed if you say what you just said. Who would allow the NSA to spy on their leadership as the Germans did unwittingly? When you're convinced you're the good guys, your zionist friends are the good guys and they say they'll do these things for good guy reasons you say yes. Because you've already said yes to compromising networks and your own encryption and information services with the NSA and GCHQ through the 14 eyes agreements and continue to cooperate in that even after finding out the Americans were abusing it to spy on you their supposed friend.

But that will face popular revolt. The people don't like their islamic hardline (assuming IRGC are hardliners) and want freedom for women not to have to wear headscarfs and deal with the morality police.

If they do that without reform many people will join up with the proxy groups the zionists and US are pouring in weapons to right now and will help plunge the country into civil war, Syria situation and collapse as a power.

The people want the domestic policies of liberal reformism vs the harsh religious rule. They also imagine because of propaganda that there is some way to mend ties with the west and integrate. They also want to not be humiliated and to be able to defend themselves. This is contradiction but this is also expected in a country that ruthlessly suppressed communists.

Such masterful trolling.

It's one of the most reactionary, disgusting shows I've ever seen. Doing apologia for a fascist, racist ideology that's actively committing genocide has to be a new low in television. There's been plenty of reactionary programming but stuff that directly pushes the line of the genociders by an unapologetic fascist writer is just a new low. Demons, these people are demons.

This isn't a little distant fascist metaphor or sympathy. This isn't Frank Miller type stuff. This is far worse and EVERYONE associated with this show is guilty and has the blood of Palestinians on them. Every one of them from actors to especially writers is as OR MORE (given the internet's ability to expose us to the truth and alternative viewpoints) guilty as the people who ran Der Sturmer the Nazi propaganda rag.

The checks these actors draw are written in Palestinian blood and may they NEVER be forgiven for it. Never forgotten for it.

My hitler-detector was going off like crazy within a couple of episodes of this second season. I wasn't trying to do critical analysis but I soon realized there was something insidious and incredibly reactionary, anti-intellectual, anti-human about the ideology the writers were shoveling at the audience. And I realized it wasn't some misanthropic writing device like the 28 Days/Weeks later universe where helping people fucks you over every time, it was obvious they were barely and badly disguising behind fiction a hard push of an ideology from the writers, a sincerely held ideology.

That or they just have some sort of philosophical aversion to piracy but don't want to say that so made up an excuse.

But I've also met too many people who are technically very educated who don't understand basic things. Who would totally believe that watching a movie like that could lead to the police raiding them.

I've seen programmers, lead programmers, professors who don't understand Windows settings or how to set up a home network or VPN or do advanced troubleshooting of an OS or hardware problem. They have very narrow skill-sets, they're not enthusiasts in computers like some stereotypical 90s nerd who poke around and truly understand all aspects of it, they're just people who work on them and have some knowledge to do specific things and think that makes them hot shit.

Corrected headline: Panicked bourgeoisie look to find propaganda that resonates with disaffected youth and voters upset about genocide, convince them actually the genocide is justified and get them back in with the rest of the herd of managed proles.

"We cannot let people get outside of the bubble we've curated, we're worried they'll start listening to people like Hasan or even more radical voices, we have to put a lid on this thing" - one panicked insider with inside knowledge.

He's aware of the melting arctic due to climate change, he knows there will be competition, perhaps even war with Russia in the future or at least a scramble for drawing lines for resource rights. Greenland would provide a strategic location for further encircling Russia and is rich in minerals and access to undersea gas/oil fields and he loves, loves, loves getting more resources like a map-vidya-game player who thinks they alone are the key to success. It also can police and provide access to newly opened arctic shipping lanes.

The consequences of allowing Discovery Communications and Zaslav to acquire Warner-HBO has been just one unmitigated disaster and pox upon the landscape of television and entertainment after another, one of the most destructive mergers in history. On the other hand maybe this might hurt US cultural hegemony a bit and in that respect be a good thing if the rest of the world bothers to capitalize on it. But it is so unfortunate for those living in the core. First world problems I guess.

Imagine getting arrested in a non-eyes, non-NATO country by the US. And right on the doorstep of Vietnam and China. How does that even work? Did the Cambodian authorities for some reason agree to arrest a dude who was in all likelihood an undeclared spy in their country for the benefit of the US and just hand him over without any further questions? Did the CIA kidnap him onto a plane and drag him away? Did he agree to be arrested and cooperate? I mean it's right next door, a bus ride to Vietnam and a short plane jaunt to China and absolutely beyond the hand of the US.

Also kind of funny, I thought at the time that the leak was almost certainly done by the administration itself to try and tamp down the back and forth between Iran and the zionist colony and prevent a war they didn't want to be in.

No they couldn't have. Several people quit, they cried about Bezos blocking them from endorsing Kamala, other news outlets reported it.

All Bezos could have done in that situation would have been to say nothing but people would absolutely have been the wiser about it being blocked by him and they'd probably lose as many subscriptions as from this. I doubt his statement wins or loses him any meaningful number of subscribers, it's just cover so he doesn't have to come out and say actually he'd rather stay on Trump's good side in case he wins and/or maybe he thinks Trump is better for his interests but of course would prefer associating with someone so uncouth.

To be honest Russia isn't as strongly denying it anymore. I've long thought that the DPRK should send troops both to crush fascism and the US/NATO empire and because sad as it is that war costs lives, the DPRK has no warfare experience within the last 60 years and things have changed a lot. A few brigades getting experience on modern combat with Russia could take those lessons back and save many lives if/when the occupied south attacks with the Americans.

Also AFAIK didn't occupied Korea already send a bunch of shells to Ukraine? They may not have been operating at full steam in support of them but I'm pretty sure they already chose to get involved.

Though I am still dubious that this has happened it wouldn't be that strange and wouldn't change my position that Russia has the right to do this.

Though I do find it a bit unlikely Russia would actually allow it as it would give the west a pretext to pour their own troops over the border by saying Russia did it first with an ally and all is fair. Most likely the DPRK troops that are in Russia reported by the west are just there for training and learning the latest combat lessons from Russian troops in modern warfare.

Hopefully the Russian Duma ratifies the treaty on mutual defense and cooperation soon as that would certainly deter the US somewhat from attacking Korea.

They're going to plug the NSA/GCHQ/eyes into Telegram and they're never going to leave. They're going to start altering content, using their access to arrest anti-imperialist activists, shut down anti-imperialist speech as "Russian disinfo" or whatever, etc, etc.

If you for some reason use Telegram for organizing, or even just for distributing anti-imperialist memes and info please move it elsewhere ASAP or at least prepare and spread info about a backup elsewhere.

Unfortunately this may proceed a very harsh cut-off of info from Russian sources as this was the last readily available in the west tool that also fully functioned in Russia. I don't know if westerners can sign up for VK or whatever else the Russian replacement is likely to be. With their control of this they can sever a major artery of info from Russian sources (private, amateur, and government) to the west about the truth in Ukraine and elsewhere. It feels increasingly like total information control. The closing of a bubble, the removal of pesky alternative sources of info, the criminalization and harassment of RT employees and anyone else connected with a country like Russia (or China).

And you can bet despite all this talk there will still be plenty of pedos channels on Telegram for without getting booted (they'll bust a few of the big ones and make a big show of how this was possible thanks to the arrest and compromising Telegram then probably go back to ignoring them in favor of information manipulation, passing info on enemies to western intel for additional targeting with malware, etc). And there will probably be an increase in amounts of tolerated terrorists targeting Russia and China on the app who aren't taken down despite requests from those countries.
