My dreams are usually pretty communicative and applicable to things going on in my life. Glasses breaking when I was starting to have a drinking problem, bombing theatrical performances when I wasn’t acting authentically in my relationships, etc.
Not saying it’s applicable for every dream, but I think our unconscious mind is pretty communicative with us when it has something to say.
I ran my first distro in 2009 and had to switch back to PC when I got to college. Finally got around to switching back over earlier this year when my computer wasn’t eligible to upgrade to windows 11. It’s wild how much easier it is to get things up and running now, my 70 year old dad could probably do it and that was not the case the first time around.

It’s actually autism in this case I fear.
I too have been known to wax obtusely verbose so that I may perchance sway - by obfuscation, tantalization, or even frustration - the hearts and minds of those individuals with whom I may at some point in time desire to make egress into their personal chambers to examine forthwith the contents contained therein by their consent or otherwise with the sole intention of the removal of some small item of greater or lesser value for the enrichment of my own person.
It’s usually pretty explicit and on the nose. Not much room for alternative interpretation in many cases.
