Unattended remote access under Wayland. I have multiple computers some headless and some with displays and I often like to remote into those from my other machines on my lan. With Xorg I used VNC. But with Wayland I have yet to find a reliable way to remote control a Wayland session without also sitting in front of the machine I’m trying to remote into.

Is there a compelling reason to use this over Amperfy?

Okay, I’m not familiar with the publication. I thought you were suggesting Ms Rachel was actually anti-semitic

Why do you think Ms Rachel should have won?

Sometimes jokes don’t land when only conveyed in text.

It’s a GUI tool that lets you see both filesystem side by side and drag and drop items to transfer them

The only real problem I have with Wayland is not being able to find a reliable way to have unattended Remote Desktop in the same session as the local user. I can do most of my remote work over ssh but for some things I prefer a gui.

I’m not familiar with HP. But with dell optiplex 3xxx, 5xxx, 7xxx tell you the class. Bigger number means more features, more premium build. The second to last digit tells you the generation. It’s 0-9 and then repeats. So 7020 is 1 year newer than 3010. 3040 is going to be the newest.

if you have the service tags just look them up on dell and you can see the detailed specs
