Is an in-app browser something people actually want? Especially one that is in an annoying popup like with this app?

I find it incredibly annoying on Android and assumed it was only there because of some Android security feature making it difficult to open links directly in the regular browser.

I don't. Unless this is a setting, its a major down side. Like the inbuilt browser has non of my plugins, adblock etc.

This is a downgrade not an upgrade.
