Does OpenRGB work with ARGB fan controllers/hubs plugged into the motherboard? (lemmy.ml)

I recently did some upgrades to my PC. One of them was an MSI Pro B550M motherboard, which OpenRGB detects all the RGB/ARGB headers for. I have an ARGB fan controller/hub plugged into an ARGB header on the motherboard, but I can't get OpenRGB to affect it, not even Mystic Light. Does anybody know why?
