This is so fucking heartbreaking to me. I actually discovered hasan through leftovers. I am a long time h3 fan and even kept watching the show through the past year. Frankly, he rarely talks politics since leftovers ended and he got off twitter, and it was still a fun watch. And he still dunks on chuds pretty often and doesnt stand for any transphobia.
But now we are back onto this stupid cycle where he goes online and finds people to be angry about. And now he is calling them all tankies, ofc he has no clue about socialism at all and is probably going to lose all shreds of the "good capitalist" he thinks him and his wife are.
I think this was kicked off by a sneako fan harassing him in beverly hills last week. That guy was a dumbass clout chasing loser and an anti semite. Ethan "owned" him in a "debate" earlier this week and i think now feels moral superiority over anyone that used the term zionist.
Ill watch their show today and i really hope we see dan push back more then he usually does. He must know that ethan is out of his element with this new anti-tanky arc. but, when he gets these pre conceivied notions he usually digs in. Its pretty cringe
Honestly it sucks for me too, I was watching the show 3 times a week up until the last break even though I acknowledge that the quality has been dipping and just feels mean spirited now. He literally just has to promise to shut the fuck up about palestine and leftist politics for the show to be tolerable again.

Yeah, the episode is no good. It is supposed to be "girls day" slumber party theme and he has been ranting about "tankies" for an hour now. Dan mostly wants him to get off of social media entirely.
And lo and behold, his face rash ("lupus") is coming back really bad. He is definitely excessively stressed and lashes out like this when is stressed. Apparently, he was up late last night with his sick kid. So I think one of his coping mechanisms is trying to be morally superior on social media.
The anti-communist portion of the show is over now and I hope that he doesn't bring it up any more because truthfully I can't stand it. He hasn't talked that much even about the election yet, he is libbed up for Kamala though so I am worried that the electoralism will grow in the run-up to the election. I love a lot about this show and think it is usually good. But I guess soon enough I will probably be another fallen fan.
It's a shame, the pod can be incredibly funny sometimes (though less so by the time I stopped watching), I don't know about you but I can't even be bothered to just skip the parts where he gets like that, it taints the whole thing for me.
