Anyone else think that we should move presidential elections to an odd numbered year so that people aren't distracted by the Olympics during the prime period that they should be learning about the candidates?
Kind of a moot point since if you nominate a corpse you lose the election.

A cursory search shows that corpses win elections pretty frequently.
Not for president.
It's never come up before. Though in practice given the rules everyone would know they are in practice voting for the named VP elect rather than the president. In a lot of those other cases it was people voting for a special election, which wouldn't happen in the presidential race.
