Assuming the user will not be connecting over vpn, but is both remote and non-technical, how would you expose Jellyfin to them securely?

afaik but I’m not sure, Jellyfin lacks support for OIDC AuthN which is a clear sign that you cannot expose this publicly.

If that is the same as oAuth, that can be done with a plugin.
But yes, that's not native.
