Work Reform

A place to discuss positive changes that can make work more equitable, and to vent about current practices. We are NOT against work; we just want the fruits of our labor to be recognized better.
Our Philosophies:
- All workers must be paid a living wage for their labor.
- Income inequality is the main cause of lower living standards.
- Workers must join together and fight back for what is rightfully theirs.
- We must not be divided and conquered. Workers gain the most when they focus on unifying issues.
Our Goals
- Higher wages for underpaid workers.
- Better worker representation, including but not limited to unions.
- Better and fewer working hours.
- Stimulating a massive wave of worker organizing in the United States and beyond.
- Organizing and supporting political causes and campaigns that put workers first.

MODERATORS
We're going around in circles at this point, so tell me what your alternative is, with the situation we are in
Well then if it's pointless may as well make it a little harder and annoying for Republicans
Which is the opposite of what in the majority of democrats in office want to do.
Hell this month Obama was even saying the republicans need to be strong.
If only there was a way to pick which Democrat you'd like... Like with a primary vote or something...

Yeah I'd love it if we could get extremely leftist primary candidates on the ballot so people could vote for them. I'm not sure what the problem is, we haven't even been having this cyclical argument you're presenting.
We've had everything but they're not real Democrats
If that's what you think then you haven't even read what I've been saying and arguing against a made up person.
We have the dems need to move left but won't, we'll vote 3rd party then, can't do that it's worse (right said a waste not split the vote, we need to change it from the inside.
I know you haven't been reading though my replies but we've been going through the loop of the dems are the only option possible
I have read your replies. Your replies don't seem to get what I'm saying though, so I keep responding.
Dems are the only option. That is the situation as it is now. There are things which we should do and need to change, but that's not here, nor now. So yes, we have to, begrudgingly, vote for Democrats.
Saying that there's things we should do and are going to do and changes that need to happen are cheap words, and saying you shouldn't vote at all because of the shitty situation or things need to be done is purposefully taking away power from the people.
Voting even helps Democrats move to the left. Voting got Mamdani elected. That's one more Democrat that's more left. His success and popularity will sway more people to run and put out more leftist policies. Those people only get into power by voting, in primaries and I'm big elections. That can only happen if ya vote.
So in response to me saying you've both missed the point of the op meme and have been going through the infinity loop meme, it's vote democrats because that's the only option.
While also saying I'm not reading or understanding you, your response is to continue to repeat that the only option which you freely admit will do nothing is all we can do is.
Which you say we can't do because would hurt dems getting in power.
Yes the exception of Mamdani's win proves the rule as the dnc and dems, who again you say are the only options, did everything possible to prevent from winning. The dems who in response to the people showing what they want and crave in a politician/political party said we must keep moving right.
Again we get to the dems are the problem but everyone like in the meme says the only option and too keep trying until they let us kick it the football
