He's that "boring" and reliable, emotionally restrained type of nerd that keeps everything in order for society.

This is super true. Most.of.my.life it was dnd, models and anime. Now that I do maintenance for a living IV added cars (any car but mostly old trucks) and appliances to that list. I love fixing shit

Be careful. You might end up like my dad, spending much of your retirement hanging out in a repair cafe with people you like, fixing appliances and loving every minute of it. Is that really what you want?

If so, go for it. I can wholeheartedly recommend it.
