Anyone ever been to or stayed at the Bonaventura Hotel in downtown LA? What did you think of it infamous Lobby? (lemmy.world)

Its lobby has been sort of criticized as a postmodern nightmare by many critics, how did you find it?

Seems like a scary place to be high for sure

I've stayed there. It was less fun than I thought it would be. I was hoping for stylish cocktails in the fancy pods but the lobby was travel agents etc. It was not fun or funky. Visually I still like it though.
