It's probably important to note they were not all from there. That's like saying "look at all these talented actors and artists and musicians in LA". It's not that LA is a breeding ground for greatness, it's just a hub for art.

I support basic income too, but not because there are great people toiling in the wrong fields, just that we all deserve basic human dignity. Not that you disagree, I'm just adding that.
