The NYT is pushing that it’s time to unite the liberals and the fascists against the commies.
Look, my brother-in-law and I have common ground on a lot of issues. He might be incorrect about the threat of a brown horde invading America but at least he's not a beyond-the-pale leftwing extremist. That would be worrisome.
You joke but if the leftists win the needy might be fed and housed; is that a risk you're willing to take?
