that would unironically be a better world than this. I can't imagine getting anything other than a straight denial or "that's whataboutism" from anyone who cared enough to bring up the first point
'The USSR forced Finland to ally with nazi Germany! Mannerheim was bullied into being Hitler's friend and killing Finnish communists! Also, Finland shouldn't have been fought against, even though they were allies of nazi Germany, because reasons!'

That kind of shit is why I stopped listening to Sabaton. I like their music, and they have multiple songs from a pro-Soviet perspective, but they have just as many (if not more) that glorify nazis. Including that one Finnish guy who fought in the Finnish army, joined the Waffen-SS to fight the USSR, and then joined the US army and fought in Vietnam

Even before the Winter War, the Finnish Whites had invited German Royalty to come rule over them. The Finnish right were always cucks to Germany.
Fun fact: During Russian Civil War, Mannerheim tried to ally with Kolchak even after Kolchak in no uncertain words told counterevolutionary Finnish government he does not recognize any independent Finland and they should prepare to rejoin Russian Empire. This cooled even those bloodthirsty fuckers and they stopped Mannerheim who fortunately had not even close the power he had in the 40's, because if Finland joined Yudenich offensive on Petersburg (which according to Lenin was the most dangerous moment of entire Civil War), Whites could quite possibly win.
It's honestly even worse than this. They just straight up don't even apologize for it. Just "yes they allied with Nazis and yes that was the right thing to do". Liberals really believe that between fascism and communism, fascism is the lesser evil
