In Trump's latest Truth Social post, he shares a disgusting video depicting a golden statue of himself, a sky scraper with his name on it, a superyacht on the Gaza coast, him holding hands with a female entertainer in a night club wearing a see-through gown, him & Netanyahu shirtless together sipping alcohol on the Gaza coast with a sign that says "Trump Gaza," and money raining down with kids jumping up to grab it.

All the signs of what many would call the antichrist, yet the religious-right is convinced he's their savior. He wants to turn Gaza into a Las Vegas style resort with his name plastered everywhere.

The antichrist is supposed to be loved by most. Trump doesn't make that cut. He's just a shitty wanna be Nazi

Revelation 13:1-9 ESV [1] And I saw a beast rising out of the sea, with ten horns and seven heads, with ten diadems on its horns and blasphemous names on its heads. [2] And the beast that I saw was like a leopard; its feet were like a bear’s, and its mouth was like a lion’s mouth. And to it the dragon gave his power and his throne and great authority. [3] One of its heads seemed to have a mortal wound, but its mortal wound was healed, and the whole earth marveled as they followed the beast. [4] And they worshiped the dragon, for he had given his authority to the beast, and they worshiped the beast, saying, “Who is like the beast, and who can fight against it?” [5] And the beast was given a mouth uttering haughty and blasphemous words, and it was allowed to exercise authority for forty-two months. [6] It opened its mouth to utter blasphemies against God, blaspheming his name and his dwelling, that is, those who dwell in heaven. [7] Also it was allowed to make war on the saints and to conquer them. And authority was given it over every tribe and people and language and nation, [8] and all who dwell on earth will worship it, everyone whose name has not been written before the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb who was slain. [9] If anyone has an ear, let him hear:

Trump's "assassination" attempt.

And the beast was given a mouth uttering haughty and blasphemous words, and it was allowed to exercise authority for forty-two months.

Fuck man, I left religion a long time ago but that is like literally how long his Presidential term is. I need some of that revelation peyote to figure out what I should do.

Also it was allowed to make war on the saints and to conquer them.

Now I can't tell if the antichrist would be Trump or Netanyahu. 7 heads leads me to believe 7 people.

  1. Putin
  2. Trump
  3. Netanyahu
  4. Musk ....

Don't read too much into it, since it's a bit of a self fulfilling prophecy and Christian fundamentalists are promoting these guys and the bad stuff towards this end to justify their beliefs. (Plus, it's easy to fit a kind of vague narrative, similar to how horoscopes work).

None the less, Christians are a rather hypocritical bunch.

I am sort of just having some fun & thinking hypothetically. I thought me mentioning revelation peyote would make that more obvious.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 21 hours ago (1 children)

I guess mines more a general statement, anyway. Plus we all know true believers are probably on something although it might just be psychosis.

You just gotta let Jesus come inside of you. He'll fill you up with that Holy Spirit. /s

Just because Christian fundamentalists are wrong doesn't necessarily mean Christianity is wrong

Either that or 7 is symbolic as the number of completion. Like full control over the government or something.

42 months = 3,5 years. Let's see.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 23 hours ago (1 children)

Yeah, I guess not quite 4 years. I don't really believe in the Bible, or at least not in a literal sense. Not saying people tripping on hallucinogens can't prophesize though.

I mean I don't too, but it would be an interesting coincidence. There are a lot of chances that his term will end prematurely, and it's interesting to bet it occurs somewhen around this margin.

One another bet. And that one I'd like to counter.
