General Discussion for politics in the UK.
Please don't post to both [email protected] and [email protected] .
Pick the most appropriate, and put it there.

Posts should be related to UK-centric politics, and should be either a link to a reputable news source for news, or a text post on this community.

Opinion pieces are also allowed, provided they are not misleading/misrepresented/drivel, and have proper sources.

If you think "reputable news source" needs some definition, by all means start a meta thread. (These things should be publicly discussed)

Posts should be manually submitted, not by bot. Link titles should not be editorialised.

Disappointing comments will generally be left to fester in ratio, outright horrible comments will be removed.
Message the mods if you feel something really should be removed, or if a user seems to have a pattern of awful comments.

[email protected] appears to have vanished! We can still see cached content from this link, but goodbye I guess! :'(

Perhaps that explains the pic of the 2 of them?

Lol. That's not her, but unsurprisingly the conspiracy theories have started already. ๐Ÿ˜‚

Already confirmed it's not her. But the narrative is too strong.

Her name is Victoria Thomas-Bowen apparently. She models..

According to The Sun, or at least I couldn't find a source that didn't reference them if it even referenced a source at all. While whosit the press secretary probably didn't do it, I'm not sure The Scum is exactly a good source either

"Here's some evidence that it isn't this person".

"Nah, I prefer my conspiracy theory".

Literally not what I did. I said it's probably not whatshername, but I'm not in the habit of trusting The Sun either and it's as likely that they got it wrong as it is that Twatter got whatshername wrong. There's probably a reason why eg. The Guardian removed Victoria's name from their article โ€“ and no, it's not that they think the press secretary did it

I just Googled her name and was provided different sources. But if those sources are referencing eachother I don't know. For some reason "journalist" don't have to provide sources.

The ones I checked either didn't have a source at all, or specifically said they got their information from The Sun

the mirror provided some pictures and links to the referenced persons socials. That's something.
