The city of Budapest will organise Hungary's Pride march by the LGBTQ community on June 28 as a municipal event celebrating freedom, Budapest's liberal mayor said on Monday, in a move to circumvent a law that allows police to ban LGBTQ marches.

Pride organisers have said the 30th Pride march in Budapest would proceed despite the new legislation, and on Monday Budapest Mayor Gergely Karacsony said in a video that the city would team up with organisers. The mayor added since the march will be a municipal event - a celebration of freedom - "no permits from authorities are needed."

Karacsony said Budapest's history was about freedom and solidarity. "In this city, there are no first- or second-class citizens. In this city we know that we can only be free together," he said. "So in this city, neither freedom, nor love can be banned, and the Budapest Pride cannot be banned either."

The genus is named for the Ancient Greek city of Opus. The fruit and leaves are edible. The most common culinary species is the "Barbary fig"

Opuntia is regarded as an aggressive invasive species.

Distribution

Like most true cactus species, prickly pears are native only to the Americas. Through human action, they have since been introduced to many other areas of the world. Prickly pear species are found in abundance in Mexico, especially in the central and western regions, and in the Caribbean islands (West Indies). In the United States, prickly pears are native to many areas of the arid, semi-arid, and drought-prone Western and South Central United States, including the lower elevations of the Rocky Mountains and southern Great Plains

Opuntia species are the most cold-tolerant of the lowland cacti, extending into western and southern Canada.

Prickly pears produce a fruit known as tuna, commonly eaten in Mexico and in the Mediterranean region, which is also used to make aguas frescas.

So gesehen ist das Verhalten von Jens Spahn und seinen Kollegen auch ein Zeichen für die Notwendigkeit, die demokratische Praxis zu demokratisieren. Wenn es keine Verantwortlichkeit gibt in einem System, verliert dieses System das Vertrauen derjenigen, für die es gemacht ist. Es muss deshalb darum gehen, eine Demokratie zu erschaffen oder zu ermöglichen, die die gesamte Energie der Gesellschaft nutzt und nicht dem Eigensinn Einzelner ausgesetzt ist. Das muss die politische Anstrengung sein, bis 2029 und darüber hinaus.
